131 years. Six generations of families. 50,000 children. We know that early support makes a huge difference in changing the lives, trajectories and future of children all over the state. So, we make early our mission and our mantra – offering learning opportunities as young as six weeks, and holistic support for families.
The first to put families first. Our family support model aligns with a two-generation approach, which provides opportunities to help meet the needs of children and their parents together.
Our staff is the backbone of our organization. Embracing early means embracing education for our teachers. The Georgia Training Institute (GTI) is the professional learning division of Sheltering Arms and provides career and skill-building professional learning experiences for early childhood educators.
